Ohh, yeah that new grass at the bottom left part of the pic is from "Northern Viking" exercise('97 I seem to recall)
when our friends in the Marines decided to take a short cut down to HelguvĂ*k(oil shipping point for NASKEF)
in order to surprise the defenders there.
I just thank God that they didn't drive over our field as it had been raining for the last 6 days and the track
they left were up to 40cm (about 16" ) deep at places.
The circle is the place where they turned around.

EDIT: The largest runway is about 180x12m (540x36f) of cut grass.
