From what I heard, a big block won't fit into a Nitro Rustler because of clearance problems with the tranny brace. Also, a big block will tear the stock NR tranny gears to pieces. So unless you can make custom steel tranny gears for the NR, I woudnt even attempt to put a .21 in a NR.
