There is no such thing as an "ultralight license". A True part 103 U/L requires NO LICENSE. Therefore there is none available. You can complete a course, and get a "certificate" that allows you to purchase discounted insurance.
Figure 50-60 bucks an hour, and around 10 hrs. to solo, if you find an instructor who will not keep you strung along- seems to be a problem with most of them, "just a couple more hours, and I'll sign you off"..........
Or you can get minimal licen$ing and fly around with your buddies.
No wonder general aviation is in such bad shape.[&o]
