I would not consider the Patriot kit an easy build. It has a fair amount of carving, and the turtle deck is bent sheet stock, the aft portion of which is real tricky. The control system is different from most models, so takes time to complete. Air retracts will double your building time, and mechanicals will triple it.
There is a new large size ARF version of the plane available.
