That would be very unwise, and anybody who did this probably would probably not post it ha ha. They probably also don't have the plane they did this in anymore. I used pcm, but will go with dual Hitec ppm in my 40%, controlled by a 10X. I lost a plane myself due to lock out at 400' and a dive straight in, never came out of lock out. I've seen another plane go in due to lock out. When a plane on pcm goes into lock out, it is a very numbing feeling, because you completely loose control. I feel, that if you get hits on ppm, you'll see/hear it, but still have a fighting chance to bring the plane safely on the ground. You can then check you equipment and field before proceeding.
