I think what it all boils down to is what do you prefer.I have tried them on various plane and engine combo's and on some engines they make no diference but on some engines it raises holy hell with getting them to run right.so for my 2 cents worth it comes down to it,s your plane try it they do not cost that much it might be what you are lookiing for if not cut the little tie wrap and put it in flight box to try on something else.
