Default RE: World Models Extra 300???

WM call it the Extra Sports 30 - an absolutely brilliant little plane. I've been flying with an old but powerful ASP .40 with a 10.5x6 Bolly up front and it gets around very happily. If I was getting a new engine I'd go for one of the many 46s out there, or a 60 or so 4 stroke. As for flying, you couldn't ask for much better in a plane of its size - very well behaved, nice stall, seems to be very nicely balanced out of the box and has no bad habits.

The only negative is the very thin aluminium landing gear - on anything but a perfect landing it will easily bend. Most people replace it with something stiffer, I've kept with it as it serves as a measure of how good my landings are, and absorbs the energy that would otherwise go into the fuselage when I stall it on the flare and it drops on its belly

Also, it is a small plane, and if it gets too far away it can be hard to see, but apart from that I couldn't be happier with mine. I'm pondering my next plane, but I'm hard pressed to think of an aircraft that's going to extend what I'm interested in more than this plane.
