Technically speaking, a plane has to have ailerons and elevators to be set up with the Ailevator option. Elevons are typically what is used when the plane (whatever configuration that might be) has either ailerons or elevators (which ever you chose to call them) but not both. In correspondence to the original post of this thread the correct term would be Ailevators.
