I have never seen an aluminum paint that looks like sheet aluminum.

That being said, go to your local auto supply and get a rattle can of "Plasti-Cote Bumper Chrome" paint. I have no idea what its formulation is, but a clear coat of Coverite "21st Century" fuel proofs it nicely. I'm sure a clear polyurethane would work well also.
