Cheech has helped me decide some things just with that one post. I had been swaying back and forth on the pilot installation issue, but I think I'll go without now. Also looking at the cf landing gear from TNT and Graph Tech.

As for the wing bolts, I installed the originals but after reading probably the same posts as you, rvd, I am upgrading them to the 1/4 20 size just in case.
