Crashland 73,

I just reread your posts, and I have questions about the results of your range tests.

Are you flying the plane in PCM mode, without problems?

Are your servos jittering, with antenna collapsed, pointed at the plane, and 100' away? And under those conditions does it make a difference whether the engine is running?

What I THINK I'm reading is that you're having servos jitter at 150', and interpreting that as a failed range check. What I'm not reading is that you've compared engine off vs. engine running, and PCM vs. ordinary mode.

Not that I want to get in the middle of any PCM / PPM discussion. I'm just trying to understand what you've tested, and learn from your experience.

Best wishes,
Dave Olson
