Default RE: Aresti 40 help

HI

I flew the Aresti. Super plane. She was slow to turn. D/R were at 80% on low rates. I could not understand it, but after a close check of the CG, I was 1 OZ nose heavy. She will turn on a rail now. She landed like a trainer on a dead stick first flight. I actually just was going to taxi her, but she was moving good so I let her fly. I just had about a 1/2 tank as I was not plaining to take off. Dead Stick first flight. I was looking for a soft place to land, because my Giles would have came down fast more like a rock. Do not take me the wrong way I love my Giles, but they like speed. I turned the Aresti and started my approach. She came to a stop about 20' from me. I liked that! Great: loops, rolls, hammer heads, hovers, and exe. If someone is looking for a low wing that has graduated from a trainer this is a plane to look at because it lands much like a tri trainer. Very responsive, but after you get use to it you will love the responsiveness. Thanks rc_sport-RCU for your help, and you where right, I love the plane.
