If it was new, I would have said to realign the liner.
But since it is used, the wear patterns on the piston and sleeve have already been established.
If you align it now, it would need an abbreviated break-in to reestablish the correct patterns.
Tapered-bore engines don't take this lightly; you may need a new piston-sleeve set afterward.
