I did all the precautions. ALL. I fly in pcm mode with a pcm 770 now. I was using an fm with aproximatly 60' or maybee a little more on. Which I was told was ok. Both tests were done with antenna down and engine off and one on. With the engine on I got the app. 60' with it off I got over 300'. Plastic throttle rod, antenna routed outside the fuse, resistor plug, (original), all components at least or there abouts 10" away. Double padded. Taped in crystal. No metal to metal contacts. I flew it with the pcm and I dont fly to far away from my strip so I figure I wont have any problems anyhow.
