My personal favorite Love/Hate relationship is with the Pacific Aeromodels Laser 200. The plane is very high quality and the hardware is good, It flies like it is on rails and has no bad tendacies whatsoever. BUT........... (ain't there always a but?) ............ The landing gear is of a very poor quality it bends on even greaser landings, and is so springy if you hit even a little bit the plane will bounce 5 or more feet in the air. My second gripe with the plane is with the covering material. It is of a very poor quality, doesn't shrink, was wrinkled all over the plane and is unmatchable.

The plane goes together well though, and it really does fly like it is supposed to. I use it for practicing IMAC sequences.
