Default RE: OS 46 FX or AX

Sunwolf.. You may get more replies if you start another thread..

I'm not sure what engine you have, or how your starting it.. stick
or starter.. Some engines take a while to get primed.. My LA-46
will do that.. If you have a starter just keep turning it until you
see the fuel heading to the carb.. Make sure your needle valve
is opened atleast 2&1/2 to 3 turns.. And she should start.. If
your using a stick, That's a little harder.. You could keep your
finger covering the carb and hand turn(holding the prop) until
you see the fuel.. or if you have someone else have them cover
the tail pipe exit(puts all pressure to tank to push fuel to engine)
but as soon as you see fuel going towards carb open the tailpipe
back up.. or you could use you fueler in the pressure tubing to
man. get the fuel to the carb... But remember the last two will
flood the engine real quick, so watch it real good.. And of
course make sure you glow plug is glowing:-)
Hope this helps
