RE: Crashed
Bummer.
This year I knew I had to do a lot of home projects, and I also knew some new students were joining the club. There are only a couple instructors, myself one of them, so I decided to schedule everything for the summer, including training.
I'm accepting schedules for training in 20 minute blocks, 4:40 to 7:00, Mondays & Wednesdays. That's what I wrote in the newsletter. I'll take as many as I can, and if there are scheduled students left over afterward, I'll take them up until I have to leave. So, there could be as many as 8 scheduled training sessions, and I could train until dark, without ever flying my own planes.
So far, none of the new students have called to schedule. The other trainer has only had one, I believe, and I've been working with two students from late last year. I would be happy to accommodate them, if they call, but I won't go to the field and wait around for them.
The rest of the week, I work on my projects at home. So far, I've missed some Monday & Wednesday flying due to weather, and I've missed some outside work at home due to weather. It's the best I can do, this year. I do wish the new students would commit to a schedule.
5Spot, you deserve a good schedule for instruction. I hope you get one.
Just my 2 cents worth,
