ALMAG oil is a light machine oil (non petroleum), used for aluminum and
magnesium. One of it's main properties is parafin. It does not require
thinning to work properly.

If I try and make a ALMAG/gasoline batch and let it sit, but I always
run out. In this case I use it as-is with no problems.

Check your yellow pages for bulk oil suppliers, especially Texaco-based
(although not required).
