Default Kyosho Zero

A friend of mine has this kit with a Saito 56. It is a very good looking plane both on the ground and in the air.

We have seen 2 problems. He decided to install retracts. We fly off a grass field. The ground handling was terrible. We installed a set of Oleo Struts and the largest wheels that would fit in the well and it made a huge difference. Every so often you will need to rebend the wire after a hard landing. But it made a world of difference.

The other problem, we still have not resolved. The plane has a tendency to nose over after a landing and when taxiing. We installed the retracts so the gear is as far forward as it can go which helped a little. It lands with full up elevator and still flips. If he programs in high rate elevator for landing, it might solve the problem. You just need to be sure you reached the stall speed before applying full up or it will snap.

Other than that. It is a nice warbird!
