Default Rascal 40 ARF

Got it's maiden flight today. Saito .56 for power, 12x6 prop, Futaba radio and Futaba 3004 servos all around. What a fantastic flying airplane. Two clicks up elevator and no alieron necessary, I was flying hands off 30 seconds after getting off the ground. This is what I wanted when I bought the Spacewalker. I've got the elevator/rudder set to Sig's reccomendation, and all the alieron I can get, still rolls slow but it's pretty axial, which is suprising. Ground handling is a little iffy, but with the .56 in it it's really a point and punch takeoff, touch'n'goes are a bit of work especially in a crosswind, but that sucker will really slow down on final! I putted around most of the time at 1/2 or less throttle, engine is still running a bit rich but it's holding nice reliable idle, popping and missing, sounded like old radial engine.

I should have gotten one a long time ago! Nice quality ARF, too, first one in a long time that I didn't feel the need to change all the hardware right off the bat.

I wish that instead of the big decals that say "rascao 40" Sig would include a couple registration number decals... You know, the "N" number...

Do I see a 120 size in the future......
