It's possible that you mean the "Firebird", a bright red ARF that Tower Hobbies used to sell. I think it was made by either Hobbico or Great Planes. It was a .40 size "pattern trainer" sort of sport ARF.

I looked on Tower's web site and couldn't find it, so (if that's the one) it may have been discontinued.
