Finally got out today and feel that I have the rudder/elevator mix nailed down. Knife edge was actually enjoyable for the first time. Even with all the area removed from the rudder its amazing how little input is required. On low rate rudder with full stick the plane will stand up. Now to try my hand at some high alpha KE. The new YS 110 has greatly increased my interest in the UCD. Incredible power. Most manuvers now only require a blip on the throttle. With a blast from the larger prop it can now flip over on its own axis. Big difference in the way it handles. Later, Joe
