In my experience (Stearman and T-6), their ARFs use good quality materials (fiberglass instead of ABS plastic) and the visible construction looks good - not as good as a builder would do, but it is a mass produced item . They are a bit pricey, but deals can be found, and they provide good customer service thru Great Planes...
