ORIGINAL: Cauliflower
The SS have no gap. On the Edge the wings butt on the fuselage sides, and there is a very small gap about 1/16 inch wide between the fuselage and the wing to wards the trailing edge. Its pretty inconspicuous and I left it like it is. But it can be easily filled with a small tapered balsa piece.
I didn't realize that the Edge was the one that had the gap. I was looking at the pictures on the web site, and every picture of the Extra has a dark area at the back of the trailing edge. I thought this was the gap that I've seen discussed here. Must be a shadow.
