Default RE: opinions on different simulators

ORIGINAL: AIRPLANENUTS
I lost mine, and the nice folks that represent AFP informed my that I cannot buy another cable, even though I can prove I bought the software. Lose the cable and plan on buying another $150 simulator!
Do you realize now that this is the 3rd excuse you've given to regarding your AFP cable? You told me that you wanted to buy another cord because you had 2 computers. I told you that we do not sell the cords by themselves as they are proprietary. Then you posted that you gave it away, hoping someone else had some sort of miracle cable. Now you say that you lost it.

Here is 1 of the 3 threads that I found. In case you edit it later, this is what it says:

"Guys, do any of you know of an AFP cable that runs continuous from a Futaba 9C to the computer, preferably in USB? I've given my AFP and adapter cord away, and I need to replace them both. Thanks, everyone."

Please don't make our company to look like the bad guy here. I work 12-16 hours a day supporting our customers and potential customers. We help anyone that wants to be helped. It really bothers me what lengths some people will go through to get what they want for free, at the expense of someone else's reputation.

Just to set the record straight to anyone that owns AFP or is considering buying the program. Like G2 and Reflex you must keep the proprietary hardware that it comes with. These special cords have safety mechanisms in them that protects the software from hackers. If you break the cord or it's defective then we will be HAPPY to replace it. If you lose it, then you must purchase another program. So keep your cord in a safe place.

Thanks!
