Love to stir the pot.
We do not carry Zenoahs, DA, 3W, J&A, Brison, BME, US, etc. However, I do carry one entry level engine: the Cheetah 42cc and I'll bet most of you would be hard pressed to point one out on your field. There are usually one of two things that put a experienced pilot in the ground, 1st being radio and most the time that's due to battery maintenance, 2nd a bad engine which can be prevented by spending that little extra towards a new one. Since you manage to mention that we are a hobby shop and we do not carry large gassers for our customers, I speak from experience. I hear the sob stories 90% against buying and wishing they had spent that little extra to buy a new engine. One of my favorites was a customer of ours that purchased a G-62 out of the sale ad of one the popular magazines, after receiving it he found it did not have the back shaft for the spring starter to go onto, and why is that? Its very simple, when you bend the front shaft after planting one the ground simply pull the engine apart and flip the back shaft to the front, now you have a front shaft that runs straight and you finish by cutting off the back shaft, make up a good story like I didn't need the extra weight and these G-62s there easy to start by hand without a spring starter (yeah right) and hope the person that gets stuck with this engine doesn't open it to see that throws on the crank are twisted. Have you ever heard that tune by Beach Boys? I'VE GOT GOOD VIBRATIONS.
