Don't be afraid to get a hold of someone who lives in the same area that the seller is, and have them take a look at the engine or other things you are going to buy here on line. Most modelers will gladly help another modeler out with this. It could just save you a lot of grief in the long run, and some hard earned money as well. I certainly would drive a 1/2 hour to check out a used engine for someone, as I would hope they would do the same for me. Don't be afraid to pass up that too good to be true deal, because it probably is.
