What was his feedback rating like?
I always base whether to bid or not on the feedback rating. I have gotten some great engines at good prices and lots of kits you cant find anywhere else on Ebay.
Got only slightly burned one time and I believe it was my second Ebay purchase I ever made. Got the item, it just didnt work as the guy claimed.
The hundred or so purchases since that one have been fine.

I bought an ARF kit from Mr. Yi Li, who does business as
[email protected] on E-bay. I received two damaged kits from him which were returned. The second was returned over thirty (30) days ago and I have heard nothing from mr. Li. I believe he is doing business on E-bay using anither name, since he has shut down his old account.
The airplanes in question are ARF pattern types for engine sizes up to 46 or so.
I would think twice about buying from this guy. He will not communicate and one in twenty (1 in 20) of his customers has results similar to mine.
Caveat emptor. Stay away from these new ARF airplanes on E-bay.
