This keeps coming up. Seems that 99% of the modelers out there have been convinced that voltage is a meaningful way to determine the charge state for your NiCad or NiMH packs. It is not.

It explains a bulletproof method to determine what your safe flying time is, NOT your safe flying voltage.

Voltage is like having a sight glass in your fuel line on your car. It tells you that gas is flowing, but it tells you nothing about what is left in the tank.

FWIW, I do use the i4c loaded voltage checker when flying, but ONLY to tell me that the packs are working. Anyhow, read my method, give it a try, I guarantee that it will work.
