RE: Scale Soaring
I go to scale aerotows pretty often and there are usually a few used models for sale there. That might be one option. Just like anything else, size, quality and features detemine cost. You should plan on attending one to get a good feel for scale and what is involved in aerotowing sailplanes. Don't know how far you would want to travel but there will be an aerotow event at Triple Tree (outside Greenville, SC) in October. Another event you might consider checking out is the JR meet in Champaigne, IL but I think the next one won't be until June 2005.
