I'd have to disagree with this statement. It really depends on the stik that you get. While some have smaller wing areas and higher wing loading which would not make a good first plane (they must fly faster to stay airborne). Others have big wings and lighter wing loading which would make them perfect trainers. Check out the
World Models Super Stunts 40...
With nearly 900 sq in of wing but weighing in at only about 5.5-5.75lbs with a BB 46, this plane is probably more stable than the large majority of trainers.
