I would suggest you go to your Local Hobby Shop and see what they offer. I made the mistake by purchasing a nitro truck from tower hobbies, btw is an excellent company. I ended up breaking parts, but.. I had no LHS support. So I had to either wait for my LHS to get the part, or wait for tower to ship.. I spend lots and lots of money on shipping costs. I would overnight parts and that does add up.

So go w/ your LHS. If your looking for RTR, Associated, Losi, Traxxas and numerous others offer good quality products.
