Read some of the other posts here, you'll get a good idea for what you want.
Both nitro and electric have their benefits. If you are brand new to r/c I would start with electric, drifting a nitro can be hazardous to the engine if you don't know much about nitro engines.
4WD is defintiely going to be the easiest way to get into drifting.
So, now that you are looking at 4wd electric touring cars, I would suggest an Associated TC3, for an awful lot of reasons that I've posted on other threads. Go find em if you want to know why I say that.
As far as bodies, Yokomo makes the best drift bodies by far, although HPI also makes an FD3S body and an S15 body.
