Default Electric fuel pump

rajul, I have used the Hobbico pumps and found the failure mode to be a broken wire inside the case where it attaches to the motor. Remove the back, resolder the wire and put some RTV or silicone potting compound to eliminate the torqueing of the motor at the start and stop and thus end the wire fatigue problem. After 5 years of using the repaired one, I sprang for the new Slimline electric that fits on the plastic fuel can and I just love it. Gave the repaired pump away and its still ticking. The fuel that I use now comes in a metal jug and the Slimline wont fit so have to fill an old plastic jug to use. Fuel pump problems persist. ha.
