I have three of the OPS Maxi 30 engines ( sucker for a good deal I guess ) that I bought reaally cheep at some of the
local hobby shops. I had planned on flying 2 of them and using the third one for parts. I had 1 on a 90" Road Runner ( heavy
18# or so ), marginal power for the weight, so I replaced it with a BT64 Fuji, but haven't flown it yet( work gets in the way of life )
I have 1 converted to gas by Ralph, but Hobbsy's comment about the heat issue makes me have second thoughts about gas,
so I may change the carb back to the stock Delorto carb and run methanol on ignition since I plan on an inverted mount on a
Dyna Flite Spitfire.
