Default engine very hard to start - SOLUTION FOUND

I've had a BME 50 for one and a half years now, and it has always started and ran flawlessly. However 2 weeks ago it started giving me trouble. Normally, with the choke on and 4-5 flips it coughs and then choke off, 4-5 flips and it starts. Now, it coughs as always after a few flips with choke on, but when I remove the choke and flip it, I am unable to obtain more than a few coughs. I can repeat this process indefinitely, choke on, cough, choke off, more coughs, etc.

I've checked the spark, beautiful. I mixed a new batch of fuel in case I had a bad one, no difference.

I managed once to get it started after 1 hour of hard labour, and it ran beautifully. But after the flight, I couldn't get it started again.

Any idea of what might be the problem ? maybe something to do with fuel delivery ?
