You suggest that I try a larger prop? Do you mean a prop larger than a 24x8? I have thought about trying a APC 26x8 but have been a little reluctant to shell out the cash, in the event that it would not work as well as the 24x8.

An APC 22x10 costs about 40$.... A Menz 22x10 about 23$
