I got my l/g for my Ryan's rebel from www. onlinemetals. com for about $17.00 shipped. You have to have access to a big vise to make the bends, but its a no brainer. I used 1" X 3/16". My plane is heavy, probably 16 plus pounds, and this gear is actually a bit stiff. Give them a try. Their stuff was so reasonable, I ordered other metals just to have them around.
