The older Hype with issues has not been available for a couple of years now. However there are two things you can do.

1- Don't fly it fast. This was the demise to the majority to the Hype's and many other 3D planes.

2- Install flying wires or carbon fiber strips to the stab. I like the CF strips. Remove the covering on the bottom of the stab on the leading and trailing edge, use some thick CA and lay the CF strips down. Wrap your finger in some plastic wrap and work the glue into the CF. You will NEVER break it. Or at least I have never broken one since I started using this method and I have tried.

Motor?? I like the West with their pipe swinging a APC 13-4. the OS 50 with the baffle removed does not seem to have the same amount of power as the West. The OS swings the APC 12.25-3.75 as well as the West swings the 13-4.
