Cougar, all I can add to this thread is DO NOT BUY THE HYPE. At our club we have had 2 disintergrate in flight both from the stab area. On both occasions the aircraft were being flown at moderate speed (1/2 throttle or less). Both incidents happend comming out of the bottom of a loop, the fuze by the stab and rudder just sheared and ripped the plane to bits. I saw both incidents and they were nothing special or being done too fast. I rate Westons products but the Hype is by and far a friday build aircraft. The customer support was kak as well. When the incedents were reported to Weston the reply was that they were aware of the problem. But they refused to listen to the explanations or offer to receive the bits so they could examen them. BTW both were on maiden flights as well.
