If you plan on using the buddy box for lessons, you'll need to get an adapter that goes from the square buddy box plug to the circular one.. I think the cable runs about $30, but I may be wrong.
that US $$$? I picked one up for my 6EXA radio to old style (square to round) from my LHS for $11
