Default RE: bob smith models

Dave Smith Models is based near York in the UK. Dave was a very proficient F3A flyer and supported the the discipline for many years up and to the late 1990s. A range of models are still available which are not necessarily the current state of the art F3A pattern planes, although I think they have just released a new model, but do have an excellent pedigree, are very modestly priced and idealy suitable for anyone wanting to get into F3A at minimal cost. I'm currently putting together a DSM Excellsior 177 for use in the winter months to keep "my hand in" when it's often too cold to be messing around with plug in wings, tailplanes etc and your fingers are dropping off. I'm sure that there is a web site for DSM. Hope this helps
