This kit builds nice. But, I would recommend that you run a couple of spruce longerons through the fuselage, say the lowest one, and one running under the wing. This will greatly add strength to the fuselage which is prone to breaking aft of the wing hole. You can eliminate the ply wing tips which will counter the weight gain of the spruce.
Try to have a reliable engine as this plane does not like to glide when dead-sticking........probably due to the thick wing.....lots of drag. If you have a dead stick dive for the runway and if you don't make it, just pull up at the last second to land as lightly as possible. The main gear takes a beating, but straighens out easily. Oh, yes, reinforce the main landing gear with ply on both sides. A small pie shaped piece on each side should do. That area is prone to breaking. Good luck.
