Default RE: Funtana 90 and 3D Airplanes

Seems to be a few comments abou the solid colored Caps we did a few years ago. What do you guys think about the solid colored models vs ARC models?

Mike

I like a solid covered model versus an ARC. The solid color lets me add the trim colors that I like. The ARC are great idea but require more time to cover the model, then apply a trim scheme. Bottom line for me is it takes less time to assemble an ARF when all I have to do is apply trim. In addition, I've found a lot of ARF's already have decals on the fuse and wing. It would be nice if the decals were included in the kit and the owner had the option to apply the decals.

If I'm going to take the time to cover a model, I'd rather purchase a kit and build it from the ground up..

Also, it would be great to see a 50cc 3d gasser with a two piece wing. 50cc seems to be a the perfect size for a lot of people. Not to large to transport in their vehicle and yet large enough that it looks good in the air.

Just my 2 cents

Regards,

Chuck
