I think you should be fine. I was leaning toward that size engine but bit the bullet, bought the DA with all their pipes. People who have this plane tell me to use Fiber Epoxy on this plane. To save weight, DA is coming out with carbon tubes that will will fit perfectly in the airplane. Hope to have mine built in the next couple of weeks. Nothing better than hearing that whistle when you roll the plane.
