10x Range Testing
Hi Danny: Recently I completed a lot of range testing with my 10X-antenna removed. This was a turbine powered airplane, so I was doing tests rotating the airplane each 90 degrees with and without the turbine ECU powered up and then with the turbine running etc. There were times when the 10X was turned on for 15 to 20 minutes at a time. I am now concerned that I may have damaged the output transistor. Is that transistor located in the RF module? What are your thoughts? I don't want to put an expensive airplane at risk.
