Default RE: Great Planes Trainer 40

My Great Planes Trainer 40 was a blast to fly. Flew more like a sport than a Trainer though, so I would not really recomend it as a good first Trainer. Not compared to what is available now. I wish they would start producing these again because I am in the same boat with no Plans. Mine met an unfortunate end when a Wing Bolt Mount Broke during a High G Loop. The wing seperated from the Plane at about 300 ft up. The Plane went in at full throttle while the wing fluttered down without a scratch. So I have a nice wing for a Trainer 40, but no fuse to stick it to. I to hope to come across a set of plans someday so I can build me a new fuse for my wing.
