Great plane! I've built two of them. Used an LA-40 and they balanced perfectly with it. Recommended throws are:

Elevator: 9/16" up and down.
Rudder: 1" right and left.
Ailerons: 3/8" up and down.

Balance point 3 1/2" aft of leading edge of wing.

Number 67 rubber bands are also recommended. 12 of them!

They fly very well but don't like hard landings! The landing gear can come out pretty easily if you punish it. They land so easily there really is no reason to have a problem. I think they actually fly better than an LT-40 but don't float as much.
