New engines typically have a "pinch" at the top dead center point of travel. This is normal and desirable. After it is broken some, this may become less noticeable. Are you getting some pops with the glow igniter? If not, then you do not have glow heat or fuel. If these are both present, then you will at least get a pop. Find someone with a starter system to help you (12 volt battery and engine starter). Difficult to start engines will usually be easier to get going with a starter.
