Default RE: Prop size

After reading this whole thread I must say that the APC 10.5x6 is the perfect prop.
Good power good speed and it allows the engine to rev. up quickly when power is needed NOW.

I have an evolution .46 on my Avistar and have tried all of the props mentioned and the 10.5x6 is the best of the bunch.

No Brag just Fact.

I'd still recommend a 11x6 or 12x4 for a trainer, even if it is a sport trainer. It is still a trainer and should be treated accordingly. I have trained many and trainers are not designed for speed. Easy laid back flying is that it does best or you take a chance on folding the wings. TOO much dihedral for speed.
